Schedule

Our hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days in our Chicago office and 2 remote days.

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Process

On call Process Management and escalations for solving incidents with on time delivery.

Technical

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Teamwork

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Quality Assurance

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.

Leadership

Lead and manage a team of data engineers.

Design

Design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.

Oversee

Oversee the implementation of data solutions using Azure services in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI Reporting.

Develop

Develop and enforce best practices for data management and governance.

Engineering

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Azure data engineering.

Qualifications

Experience

Equivalent work experience will be considered. Proven experience as a Data Engineering Manager or similar role. Experience with Architecture, Drawing data flow ...

Knowledge

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.

Skills

Excellent leadership and project management skills.

Degree

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

Certification

Azure Data Engineer certification.

Analysis

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Communication

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency

Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
