Position Overview:

The Manager of Sales Operations & Contracting is responsible for managing the team and workflows required to support the Client Organization (Sales and Customer Success Managers) with operational activities associated with the acquisition, onboarding and support of our client base. To succeed you need to be a strong problem solver and a results-oriented individual who provides exceptional customer service to stakeholders and clients.

The Manager, Sales Operations & Contracting will work in a team environment under the leadership of the Director, Sales Operations.


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work in partnership with Sales, Customer Success and Onboarding leadership to ensure operational support mechanisms are in place and driving the business from customer acquisition through retention.

  • Through direct and indirect reports, manage the proposal and contracting process throughout the lifecycle of the client, ensuring adherence to workflows, required approvals and audit guidelines.

  • Hold team members accountable for day-to-day activities and adherence to turnaround times through daily, weekly and monthly report reviews.

  • Lead and grow the team by providing feedback and setting standards of exceptional service and performance. Ensure Employees are engaged, and the role continues to evolve to meet team, stakeholder and company needs.

  • Work cross functionally with Finance, Legal and IT teams to continually update, improve and automate interdependent workflows, as well as operationalize new services.

  • Manage, monitor, and review SalesForce Dashboards for accuracy and completeness.

  • Identify trends and operational improvements pertaining to the SalesOperations team and any stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned by Director, Sales Operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a customer support and/or operational role

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and coach a team.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of customer service and relationship building abilities with internal stakeholders

  • Proven and effective communication skills

  • Maniacal attention to detail

  • Capability and flexibility to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

  • Contracting related experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel

  • Experience with Salesforce and SalesForce CPQ system preferred

  • People Management experience a plus
