Financial Processing Services – Image Processing Representative

We are seeking an Image Processing Representative to join our Financial Processing Services team within our Core Services Division at athenahealth. Your job would be scanning outbound paper claim submissions and incoming healthcare payments on behalf of our clients. But enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are action oriented. You have personal ownership and accountability of your work, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and adaptability in response to changing work conditions and learning opportunities.
The Team: The Financial Processing Services department works Monday through Friday 6 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility is required as days and hours are based on work assignment and business conditions. Overtime (Saturday work hours) is based on business need.
The hours for Image Processing are flexible between 7:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scanning healthcare documents into our digital system in a timely manner
- Pulling batches of mail from one section of the department to the scanning center
- Staying vigilant on daily team tasks and monitoring production goals
Typical Qualifications:
- Need to be able to move 30–35-pound boxes
- Need to be able to work on your feet
- Can work effectively on a small team to meet a daily common goal
- Ability to adapt with the frequent changes in work availability
- Strong work ethic including attendance, punctuality, and productivity
- Willingness and ability to perform repetitive tasks without losing focus
