We are seeking a Platform Operations Associate to join our Platform Operations team within our Product Optimization division at athenahealth. Your job will be to provide support for our evolving platform offerings; process internal and external cases, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide timely resolutions.

You enjoy helping others by supporting a customer; you love troubleshooting and problem solving. You want to roll your sleeves up, learn by doing, and identify enhancements of our existing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and thrive in an environment where you “own” a core set of responsibilities but launch into additional work and opportunities as they arise.

The Team: The Platform Operations supports products such as Data View, athenaPayer, API Solutions and other evolving services with customer support, troubleshooting and operational processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues using online resources to resolve and forward outcomes to internal and external teams
  • Perform outreach to clients to convey updates, gather information, and coordinate roll-out of new services
  • Act as the voice of the client, anticipating pain points and gauging practicality of workflows

Typical Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of a combination of experience and education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication-based on audience
  • Understanding of healthcare/health IT environment is a plus
