Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Manager – FP&A to build an India-based Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence team. The Senior Manager will grow the team’s scope, size, and impact over time to build a world-class FP&A team supporting full P&L activities.

You are tenacious and strive for excellence in delivering what our FP&A team and our stakeholders need to manage the business.

The Team: Our FP&A team drives decisions at all levels, from Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team strategy to manager-level tactical operations, by analyzing and reporting financial results and developing forecasts. This role reports into the Corporate FP&A team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver forecasts, reports, and analysis on time with accuracy, directly and/or indirectly through the team (monthly close, cost center/account variance, vendor planning, data updates & reconciliation, pixel perfect PowerPoint slides, etc)

  • Design and implement forecast and performance management processes that drive rigor, accountability, and alignment across divisions

  • Develop, align, and execute the team vision for growth, including becoming the sole owner of activities

  • Partner with senior leaders across FP&A to identify, align, and execute on opportunities to standardize and centralize work in the India-based team

  • Proactively develop & share areas of future risks/opportunities and ways to mitigate risks/operationalize opportunities

  • Drive best-in-class governance in approving purchase orders and analyzing vendor spend; partner with Accounting, IT, and budget owners to improve process and technology across procure to pay activities to optimize vendor spend

  • Improve existing datasets, models, and reports to uncover new insights, simplify work, and/or improve user experience

  • Develop and maintain team planning calendar to effectively balance demand for deliverables and team capacity

  • Be the team leader: own coaching, teaching, issue escalation, career development, and succession planning


Qualifications

  • Min 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis across the P&L

  • Prior experience of working directly in a FP&A functional team is required. Center of Excellence/Shared Services/Global Capability Center leadership and public accounting experience is preferred.

  • 3+ years of managing a team

  • Demonstrates the highest integrity with a track record of maintaining strict confidentiality

  • Develops trusting relationships across seniority levels and teams

  • Communicates proactively and clearly with team and stakeholders

  • Owns a track record of strong analytical problem-solving skills: manipulate data, build models, create Board-ready reports, develop analysis, and communicate findings with a strong command of technology (Excel, Anaplan, PowerPoint, PowerBI, or similar tools)

  • Is a well-organized, action-oriented planner who optimizes team capacity & leverages the power of process

  • Able to work 2:30p-11:30pm IST
