We are looking for a Salesforce developer (Member of Technical Staff) to join our athenaIT division in Bangalore. As a member of the Salesforce scrum team, you will be delivering efficient Salesforce.com solutions to our business stakeholders. Salesforce is a strategic enterprise level platform at athena and we take advantage of the majority of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Einstein Analytics as well as a number of AppExchange packages, including Gainsight and Cloud Coach and 3rd party integrations like Coveo. This is a challenging role in an area of athenahealth’s strategic expansion that will require tenacity, teamwork, and a passion for achieving true customer success.

Position Summary:

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for standard and custom Salesforce development. This includes designing, coding, configuring, unit testing, and modifying existing features. This position will work alongside product owners, analysts, stakeholders, and architects on the athenaIT Team.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

● Follow approved life cycle methodologies and develop scalable and secure Salesforce applications in an agile environment

● Act collectively with the scrum team to determine how to achieve goals

● Produce high-quality code that will drive complex functionality in our product and deliver customer value

● Design and develop optimal solutions using configurations and customization

● Understand and follow coding conventions and Salesforce architecture best practices

● Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standards.

● Learn the domain knowledge for area of assignment

● Follow practices outlined by team and contribute to agile ceremonies to improve team performance

● Builds strong relationships with cross-functional team members and external teams

● Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use case and test data creation.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

● 2- 5 years of experience in an engineering role

● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

● Possess a strong foundation in Salesforce technical skills required for the job.

● Work experience with Apex, triggers, LWC, Flows, Batch, Queue, SQL, SOQL.

● Familiarity of working in an Agile environment preferred

● Any Salesforce Admin/Developer certifications are preferred.
