We are looking for a Director to join our Sales Team that will focus on our Platform Services solutions. The primary responsibility of the Director, Platform Services Sales is to drive growth for both new and existing logo accounts across all sales segments. The Director, Platform Services Sales is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and executing on the support of Platform opportunities within the new and installed client base, bridging intra-departmental strategy and communication, and establishing sales operations to feed growth. The Director, Platform Services Sales will partner closely with individuals and teams in Sales, CSG, Product, Integration, Platform Services & Solutions, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance to drive Platform Services sales growth.

This role reports directly to the Vice President, Client Solutions Group and will require up to 50% travel, and is flexible in terms of physical location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Obsess over Platform sales growth across new and existing logo accounts, all sales segments

  • Direct support of deals in a Platform overlay capacity; assist in deal support from value articulation to contract signature

  • **Face-off with key external decision makers, including experienced, technical buyers

  • Identify, build, and forecast pipeline of qualified Platform opportunities

  • Advise on sales strategy, value assertion & product positioning

  • Collaborate on pricing, packaging and messaging - ensuring streamlined communication and execution

  • Establish and maintain internal reporting function for Platform Services

  • Provide guidance/recommendations for additional enablement opportunities (across sales or segment specific)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, advanced degree a plus

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in selling technical solutions – must be able to demonstrate experience in prospect/client facing roles for organizations providing consulting and/or outsourced services, with responsibility for engaging in a consultative sales process to targeted decision makers

  • Demonstrated experience with systems integration and data asset architecture and using technology as a strategic differentiationathenaOne product and service expertise is a plus.

  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership to aligning process, projects, and people to meet business goals in cross-functional team settings.

  • Strong collaborator with successful track record of working in a heavily matrixed organizational structure

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead conversations from the deeply technical to C-level strategy

  • High aptitude and understanding of VBC and the ever-changing at-risk arrangements
