We are looking for a System Software Development, Associate to join our athenaIDX Hosting and NSS teams within our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering division. This job will serve as an entry point into the CIE team ensuring our customers’ requests are resolved quickly, accurately, and with the highest quality of customer service. Success in this role will require troubleshooting acumen, curiosity, patience, and a strong sense of ownership. You’ll play a crucial role triaging issues, gathering requirements, solving technical problems, and building sustainable solutions.
Our Tech Ops team within athena is primarily responsible for enhancing and maintaining the core infrastructure and database structure for athenaIDX customers hosted by athena and owned by the customer to help keep a stable experience for them.
Job Responsibilities
· Provide high quality phone support to our customers and when necessary, triage issues to the system administrator team
· Provide support to monitor and maintain customers’ environments
· Assist with daily system checks, creation of users and printers, and other technical duties
· Assist in creating customer metrics reports
· Help write process or knowledge base documents
· Participate in monthly off-hours preventive maintenance every 3rd Sunday of the month
· Reconcile data in reports and documentation
· Assist with system teams in administrative duties which include customer communications and meeting notes
· Work with internal teams to resolve customers issues
· Provide focused, timely, high-quality resolutions for escalated customer issues
· Demonstrate organization skills and the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
· Knowledge of Linux and, Window OS
· DevOps experience preferred
Typical Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
· 2 -5 years’ experience in technical help desk role
· Demonstratesd analytical thinking/problem solving ability
· Tenacity & creativity in handling customer issues
· IT operations or infrastructure experience well as experience with hosted solution environments.
· Demonstrates organization skills and the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
· Knowledge of Linux and Window OS
· DevOps experience preferred
