We are looking for an experienced Architect to play a pivotal role in Cloud infrastructure and Engineering (CIE) team, focusing on the tech-modernization and production stability initiatives, leveraging AWS and private data center solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. This role will be crucial in shaping our architectural initiatives and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure systems that meet the unique needs of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement architectural solutions for transitioning workloads to EKS, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.
· Develop and maintain cloud architecture best practices that ensure scalability, maintainability, and security across healthcare applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build hybrid cloud solutions that effectively integrate on-premises and cloud environments.
· Provide expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), contributing to the selection and implementation of cloud technologies and services.
· Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) in all architectural designs.
· Stay up to date with emerging cloud computing trends and healthcare industry advancements to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Support production stability in both AWS and data center environments, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
Expectations:
· Deliver high-quality architecture designs and implementations within specified timelines.
· Act as a subject matter expert in AWS and cloud migration strategies, providing guidance and insights to team members and stakeholders.
· Proactively identify and mitigate potential architectural risks and challenges during the migration process.
· Participate in code reviews and architectural reviews to promote best practices and continuous learning within the team.
· Establish guidelines to archive highest level on production stability objectives.
· Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members, ensuring alignment on project goals and architecture decisions.
· Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, staying informed about industry trends and technologies to enhance our cloud strategy.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on AWS.
· Proven experience in migrating services from Amazon ECS to EKS and hands-on expertise with AWS services.
· Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and deployment models.
· Familiarity with healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
