Provide the technical expertise and project coordination necessary to deploy, configure and support computer hardware or software. Partner closely with members of the IT team and outside IT vendors to ensure service continuity and a high level of technical support for end users. Ensure all audio, video and other technical systems used in company conference rooms are continuously functioning. Routinely check in with users to ensure systems are effective and meeting the communication needs of the organization. Manage and optimize the local office networks to ensure a smooth experience for all employees. Investigate and remediate potential threats and anomalous user behavior. Contribute to developing and update IT documentation. Mentor and lead IT team. Position is fixed location based in Boston office; however, telecommuting may be permitted up to three (3) days per week.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking and System Administration or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in a technical support role.
Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently)
Mac OS/OS X/ iOS support
Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently)
Asset purchasing, management, and tracking
Network hardware installation and configuration
SaaS application administration
Will accept a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in a technical support role in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $105,000 - $157,000 /year.
