Are you passionate about leading talented engineering teams that builds high-performance, large scale Messaging systems that support Ring’s current and future growth? Are you seeking an environment where you can drive innovation with a strong customer-focused mission? If so, we are looking for you to be a senior engineering leader (Sr SDM) in the Ring cloud engineering team.

The team owns software platforms handling critical user notifications, marketing messaging, UX personalization, and experimentation. With a focus on all user messaging, the team’s services directly support revenue generating experiences, sub-second notifications for detected events, and content management and automated delivery.

You will directly contribute to shaping and executing Ring’s GenAI / LLM strategy. In addition, partnering with our data science and data engineering teams, you will help define our next-generation data pipeline, data warehouse, visualization, and no-ETL capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience establishing metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
