DESCRIPTION

Ring is looking for a leader to join our team as a Senior Demand Planning Manager for our portfolio of devices. This position will support the continued growth of Ring as we advance our mission to help make neighborhoods safer.

As a Senior Demand Planning Manager, you will serve as the demand planning POC for your assigned device programs. Further, you will own, shape, and refine your demand plans based on insights from key product, category, sales, and retail teams. Along with day-to-day operations, you will be heavily involved in long-range planning objectives, the drafting of documentation needed to substantiate monthly purchasing decisions to leadership, the management of new product introductions and a critical liaison in the S&OP/SIOP process.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end demand planning processes for core devices
- Drive the forecasting of new product launches and maintain a proper phase-in/phase-out process
- Serve as a subject matter expert for overall demand planning, pricing, promotional planning, in-stock/retailer demand and a conduit for supply planning processes
- Own and communicate the global demand plan, along with changes/exceptions therein, to stakeholders
- Work to continuously improve key demand planning performance indicators such as (W)MAPE and Attainment
- Support in the implementation/management of S&OP process via reporting, ad hoc analytics and facilitation of monthly meetings

About the team
The mission of our planning organization is to deliver accurate forecasts, inventory targets and allocation plans to ensure customers are able to purchase the product they want, when and where they want to. You will own and manage the worldwide planning for specific categories of Ring devices. This position requires the ability to think critically, manage without authority, and leverage a broad cross-functional organization of business teams. This role is highly visible throughout the organization and will lead the management/generation of large-scale demand plans that are presented to senior leaders and C-level executives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel on an advanced level (Power Pivot, Power Query, embedded SQL and some VBA) and the ability work with/join disparate data sets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- An up-to-date ASCM CSCP certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
