As our Hardware Program Manager, you'll lead innovative hardware from ideation to production, spearheading the end-to-end development of groundbreaking smart home devices. In this crucial role, you'll orchestrate cross-functional teams across global locations, including platform, hardware, image, motion, operations, and quality assurance experts. You'll drive hardware deliverables from concept to production, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery while navigating fast-paced product development cycles. Your responsibilities will include overseeing program status, managing critical issues, and allocating resources strategically to meet ambitious deadlines and quality standards.

We're looking for a candidate who can thrive in an open, collaborative environment that values responsiveness, flexibility, and a can-do attitude. You should have strong engineering-oriented product development experience, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), and expertise in consumer electronics, particularly in IP camera-related products. The ability to excel in rapid development cycles and manage multiple priorities effectively is crucial, as is enthusiasm for working with diverse, global teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Creating comprehensive, high-level product development schedules

• Managing end-to-end hardware development status with clear and detailed documentation. Hosting weekly status update and program review meetings

• Producing excellent documentation on risk assessments, issue escalations, and decision logs to support informed decision-making

• Demonstrating proactive problem-solving by identifying potential issues early and delegating to appropriate team members for swift resolution

• Efficiently tracking and managing engineering changes and validation status.

• Orchestrating seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners throughout the product lifecycle

• Co-leading the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and spearheading RFQ package preparation

• Overseeing certification processes and ensuring compliance through cross-functional team collaboration

• Thriving in a fast-paced environment by effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities

• Being prepared for up to 20% travel, including international trips, to support global project needs and foster team collaboration

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our product development process, ensuring smooth operations from concept to launch while maintaining our high standards of innovation and quality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 4+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 6+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 8+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
