Role Overview:
The CarGurus Sales Analytics team seeks a Senior Analyst to support the Canada sales organization. You will provide analysis and insights to drive revenue growth for our Canada Sales team. As a key member, you'll manage and enhance the Sales reporting roadmap and serve as the primary analytical contact for the Canada Sales Leadership Team, synthesizing data into actionable insights. Collaboration with Sales Operations, Enterprise Applications, and Data Engineering teams is essential to optimize reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Canada Sales Leadership and Business Operations to refine and execute the reporting roadmap.
- Provide consultative insights on sales performance, expansion opportunities, and sales cycle analysis.
- Ensure the Canada Sales team's data needs are met accurately and promptly.
- Create actionable reports and dashboards from various data sources to support decision-making.
- Develop custom reports and advanced dashboards in Salesforce.com and CRM Analytics.
- Recommend and implement improvements in CRM and sales motion tracking.
- Automate reporting and business processes to enhance efficiency.
- Support sales tool development, research, and strategic insights through efficient data sourcing and ETL processes.
- Use data and models to support recommendations to leadership, enhancing business outcomes.
- Maintain documentation on data and reporting protocols as processes evolve.
- Enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of 5 years in an analytical role, preferably in SaaS, data strategy, or consulting.
- At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Proven track record of providing data-driven consultation to business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques.
- Experience with ETL processes; knowledge of DBT is a plus.
- Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools like Tableau or CRM Analytics.
- Strong understanding of Sales KPIs and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
- Exceptional analytical abilities and strong presentation skills.
- Ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing gaps in sales processes and data management.
- Commitment to high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
- Aspiration to become an expert in contract renewal processes and methodologies.
