Role overview

The Senior Commission Analyst will manage monthly commission cycles for multiple plans and roles globally, ensuring timely and accurate payouts. This role will analyze global attainment to monitor the health of commission plans, assist with the issuance and tracking of plans, review and update commission policies, develop quotas and handle various other responsibilities associated with commissions management. The successful candidate will also manage cases, report on their status, conduct what-if analyses, analyze quota exceptions, and communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

What you'll do

  • Commission Cycle Management
  • Oversee the monthly commission cycles for various plans and roles across global regions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation and distribution of commission payments.
  • Commission Plan Issuance and Tracking
  • Assist in the issuance and tracking of commission plans.
  • Ensure all plans are documented, communicated, and adhered to by relevant stakeholders.
  • Quota Development
  • Develop and adjust quotas based on Operating Plan and aligned with overall business objectives and sales strategies.
  • Plan Health Monitoring
  • Analyze global quota, variable and Op Plan attainment to monitor the health and effectiveness of commission plans.
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Captivate IQ Proficiency
  • Utilize Captivate IQ for commission calculations and reporting.
  • Ensure the tool is used effectively to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Manage commission cases, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Ensure dashboards are accurate; create new dashboards as needed.
  • Communication with Senior Leadership
  • Communicate commission- related insights, updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic input on commission plan designs and adjustments.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commissions management, sales operations, or finance, preferably in a global context
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to project manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google sheets, Salesforce, and Captivate IQ or other compensation tools preferred
