In this role, you will:
- As PM, develop program charter and project structure to guide the implementation of initiatives related to services for city residents, and transportation.
- Manage the implementation of Accela Governance, focusing on prioritization, performance metrics and tracking, and continuous enhancement of the governance model.
- Lead initiative to incorporate change management practices to ensure a successful rollout
- Serve as liaison between the vendor (Accela) and the City stakeholders to coordinate all activities
- Provide periodic reporting to the Accela Steering Committee on progress, milestones, risk mitigation and issue escalation.
- Develop strategies for the efficient collaboration among the key departments in this program.
- Coordinate with internal Business Process Team to identify requirements, improvement opportunities, and recommendations for City permitting and licensing business processes impacted by the Accela system.
- Interact with top City administration and operations level staff on project design and implementation
Who you are:
- PMP Certification is required
- Knowledge of or previous experience with municipal permitting or licensing process is desirable.
- At least 5 years experience leading complex projects
- Experience with Accela desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with multiple stakeholders
