Centric Consulting is an international management consulting firm with expertise in digital, business and technology. We are looking for a AWS Lambda Developer to join our growing team.
While this position is remote, we do require candidates to attend an onsite interview and be onsite for their first week of employment.

In this role, you will:
- Design and development of applications with API Gateway and Amazon Lambda
- Design and development with AWS services, like SQS, SNS, S3, and CloudWatch
- Design and development of AWS databases, like RDS PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Adhere to system secure coding, contingency, deployment, and software development methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Diagnose and document defects in all environments, and drive them to resolution
- Contribute daily to code reviews and other collaboration activities
- Implement automated unit and integration tests that prove requirements and demonstrate defect resolutions
Who you are:
- Front experience with TypeScript and Angular
- Backend experience building AWS Lambdas with NodeJS, .NET or Java
- A clear perception of core AWS services uses and basic AWS architecture best practices
- Proficiency in using AWS service APIs AWS CLI and SDKs to write applications
- Knowledge in using a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS (preferably GitLab)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Cloud Watch and AWS X-Ray
- Familiarity with No-SQL databases like DynamoDB as well as relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience using Agile/Scrum software development methodologies using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence Experience with GIT or similar source control tools (especially with GitLab)
- Experience using an Infrastructure as Code technology, such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cloud reference architectures and AWS best-practices
- Experience using Typescript and NodeJS for backend development
- Experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines Experience using Docker and LocalStack for development and testing.
- Experience with Terraform and/or CDK for Terraform to define infrastructure components AWS certification or any other relevant certifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Associate degree and/or Technical Bootcamp Certificate with at least 5 years of related work experience
