In this role, you will:

  • Work with business subject matter experts and technical teams to gather project needs and translate them into functional and technical documentation
  • Be a general liaison between business and technical teams
  • Create reference manuals, training material, and other technical documents
  • Help train new users for the solution
  • Work with test teams to ensure the creation of test scenarios and plans
  • Work on Agile projects (experience writing user stories, creating acceptance criteria, stand-ups, product review sessions, backlog grooming meetings, retrospectives, sprint planning processes, and of automated testing processes)
  • Create drafts of epics and stories to seed backlog to begin the refinement process
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, demos, and retrospectives

Who You Are:

  • Translate our vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog
  • Expertise in multiple business analysis methodologies, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, and user acceptance testing and product documentation
  • Understand complex customer needs and translate them into stories with acceptance criteria
  • Write requirements, reports, specifications, plans and analysis, and at a level that is appropriate for partners
  • Understanding of IT resources that are available and appropriate to help define and validate requirements and specifications for assigned projects
  • Develop requirements through interviews, questions, user observation, workshops, brainstorming, use cases, role playing and prototyping
  • Experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool
  • Must have experience with Auto/Boat/ or RV insurance
  • Must have experience with policy/quoting
