Constant Contact is looking for an innovative, growth-driven marketing and business development leader to scale its partnership programs. Reporting to the CMO, as VP of Partner Marketing you will be leading a team of channel marketing experts who drive end-to-end performance in a cross-channel, multimedia funnel. Representing one of the top small business software brands, you will have the opportunity to nurture relationships in the small business solutions community, build new cross-marketing and integration ideas, and lead the team bringing partner programs to market for our collective brands and customers.
What you’ll do:
- Build target lists, identify key decision makers, and assess the growth opportunity of partnerships with small business software and solution providers, affiliates, and influencers. Work with partner marketing team and C-suite to identify cross-marketing and integration opportunities that provide maximum benefit to our customers and maximum opportunity to the business.
- Innovate combinations of multi-channel touchpoints to build Constant Contact’s partner brand in the marketplace and tee up conversations with the right brands and the right decision makers. Partner with product marketing and brand teams to evolve our value propositions.
- Communicate gaps and opportunities in content, brand assets, digital conversion, and product capabilities to internal stakeholders to advance Constant Contact’s competitive position.
- Lead and support negotiations of agreements, analyzing and balancing commission-based, revenue-sharing, referral bounty, conversion penetration, and other incentive types. Recommend land and expand milestones and set desired program outcomes.
- Build partner penetration and growth strategies in collaboration with product, digital, and sales functions across diverse partner types in software, co-marketing, franchise, multi-location, and expert/influencer models.
- Lead partner marketing teams to build measurable, repeatable, and scalable growth programs. Drive partner program operational excellence through process, system, and tracking optimization.
- Work with partner marketing team and cross-functional teams toward partner funnel optimization using performance data to isolate and troubleshoot areas of opportunity.
- Be accountable to partner channel lead, customer, and revenue growth targets. Manage and oversee partner marketing budgets. Partner with digital media and events teams to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Develop and communicate partner marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations with quarterly readouts to the senior management team.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration
- 10+ years of marketing and/or business development experience
- 5+ years of experience working in software industries, preferably in SMB B2B SaaS
- 5+ years of experience managing a marketing or business development teams
- Proven track record of targeting, nurturing, launching, and growing impactful partnership opportunities
- Tailored ability to build relationships and attract interest through in-person and virtual events, digital and video marketing, and thought leadership programs
- Expert at marketing fundamentals including demand generation, account-based marketing, and journey creation and analysis
- A passion for data-driven marketing, efficient processes, and best-in-class customer experience
- This role requires medium-to-frequent travel
