The Royalty Distribution Specialist role is an opportunity for a motivated individual to manage, analyze and interpret data to support the calculation of royalties paid to rightsholders for the use of their works. The ideal candidate is a skillful problem solver, has strong communication skills, and learns quickly when facing new situations. Important to the role is the ability to work with data both holistically and in a detail-oriented manner, identifying connections and drawing big picture conclusions while ensuring the accuracy of work. This role offers the opportunity to work with teams across the company.

The selected candidate may work in our Danvers, MA headquarters, or work remotely.

Compensation range: $65,000 - $72,000

Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible

The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience, and other related factors.

What you will be doing:

  • Collect and manage data used in calculating distribution shares for royalty payments to rightsholders.
  • Model distribution shares, analyze calculation results, and communicate those results.
  • Support new department and company-wide initiatives and business processes.
  • Maintain and communicate processes and procedures with both internal and external customers.
  • Perform analysis and research to help inform policy decisions and special projects.
  • May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience with data management and analysis required.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with Power BI, developing, documenting, and streamlining processes and experience with research using the internet is preferred.
  • Team player, yet also able to work independently. Excellent verbal and written skills. Years of experience
