As a Senior Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of both production and non-production systems, supporting our customer-facing products and internal applications. You’ll collaborate with the other systems operations team to build and manage AWS infrastructure and be the go to for Terraform knowledge.

Compensation range: 115K to 130K annually

Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible

The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.

What you will be doing:

  • Administer Copyright Clearance Center’s Online environments including systems, applications, configurations and security.
  • Responsible for infrastructure code development, builds and retirements, user account management, software deployments, implementations, software patching and upgrades, system and application monitoring, performance analysis, and problem-solving.
  • The person in this position will be on call during non-business hours on a rotational basis as well during schedule releases (activities)
  • Adheres to all Copyright Clearance Center policies, procedures, and standards, both administrative and technical

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Terraform in-depth knowledge
  • Amazon Web Services (EC2 Instance/AMI management, security groups
  • Networking technologies: HTTP, SSL/Certifications, LDAP, SMTP
  • Software builds, systems and web applications experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure provisioning and management, Linux (prefer RHEL/CENT/OS/Amazon Linux) in server operating systems, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
