As we expand our team we’re seeking engineers that thrive in a forward-thinking organization and are passionate about building products that drive measurable impact, while committing quality code and deconstructing complexities. We are looking for smart, thoughtful, collaborative technologists to help us reach our goals while delivering value and impact across our business.

The Growth Platform team concentrates on developing the infrastructure and systems essential for assembling the most accurate customer dataset possible, aiming to boost revenue by delivering personalized customer experiences. You will be joining a team that partners closely with product analysts, marketers, operators, data researchers, and business partners to identify opportunities to enhance our product offerings, streamline operations, and drive strategic growth. Together, we leverage data insights and innovative technologies to develop targeted solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers, improve user engagement, and maximize the impact of our marketing efforts. This collaborative approach ensures we are not only meeting but exceeding our business objectives, setting new benchmarks for excellence and innovation within the industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a team player and operate within an agile framework, employing SCRUM and Sprints to enhance project management and accelerate product development.
  • Build back-end products utilizing Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Sidekiq, and various platform integrations.
  • Build, buy, and operate the architecture needed to enable rapid product and marketing insights (e.g. event streaming, sessionization, identity resolution, etc).
  • Collaboratively define problems, set strategies, and drive innovation.
  • Plan and organize projects and work with your team to deliver results; individually and collaboratively.
  • Partner with stakeholders, researchers, engineers, data scientists, designers, and other peers to ideate, coordinate, and deliver cross-functional value.

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Fullstack experience using Ruby on Rails.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Postgres? Even better.
  • An appetite for learning, experimentation, relentless curiosity and an ability to leverage what you learn to make our products better.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work both autonomously and in team environments.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A growth mindset with a desire for continuous improvement and personal and professional growth.
  • A friendly, flexible, and pragmatic disposition.
