We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting department. This position will be responsible for overseeing various financial functions, including vendor management, treasury operations, travel expense management, maintenance of the general ledger, and the review of accounting work prepared by outsourced firms.
An Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.

What You’ll Do:
Vendor Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end vendor management process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
- Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Travel Expense Management:
- Develop and enforce travel expense policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to policy and accuracy of documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on expense reporting tools and reimbursement processes.
Maintenance of General Ledger:
- Oversee the general ledger, investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjustments, and accruals as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Oversight of accounting work prepared by accounting service providers:
- Coordinate with external accounting firms or service providers for outsourced accounting tasks.
- Review and approve accounting work prepared by outsourced firms, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed.
- Stay current on accounting pronouncements and industry best practices to ensure accounting policies remain up-to-date and compliant.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 2 years of general accounting experience required
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret accounting and financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
