Overview:
Are you a System Engineer in Test who would like to work on unique technology used by more than 3200 enterprise companies in 80 countries? In this role, you will be part of our dynamic Engineering team where you will have a chance to work side by side and learn from our Lead Engineers. As a QA Engineer you’ll work to develop qualification strategy and develop testing tools and software for HYCU's next generation data protection SaaS in the cloud.

What You’ll Do:
- Take Ownership of a system test area and delivery of system testing for Hycu Data Protection product Suite
- Work with product management and product engineering teams from the start of the development cycle to review PRD, design documents and test plan for quality and non-functional requirements
- Create system test strategy, test plans, execution and automation.
- Maintain test coverage, regression pipelines and drive test gap analysis/actions for assigned areas
- Propose and drive initiatives to solve complex problems in areas like scalability testing, virtualization/databases/files protection, cloud archive / replication, quality processes etc.
- Coach and mentor other team members on the technical and project planning/execution front.
- Ability to understand, Analyze the data protection requirements across multiple SaaS platforms
What We’re Looking For:
- An Engineering Degree in Computer science of Science/Software engineering is required along
- At least 3 years of experience working as a System Engineer and/or QA Engineer
- Extensive experience in Linux System Administration
- Experience with VM-s, storages, backups
- Experience in non-functional testing like stress & scalability in system test (if no experience, we can help you get there :) )
- Experience with docker & container technologies is a plus
- Experience with driving test life cycle (test planning, execution, automation) and release qualification
- Expertise in one hyper-scaler technology and experience in developing applications on the hyper-scaler platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Databases-MySQL/Mongo/Amazon RDS
- Scripting Skills-Bash/Python/PowerShell
