We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our Financial Services team. This position is based in our midtown Manhattan office and is specifically focused on addressing the increasing demand for our technologies in the financial sector.

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new accounts and driving growth in existing accounts. You will focus on promoting our IRIS Data Platform and Total View Solution for Asset Management, managing the entire sales process to generate revenue and cultivate strong business relationships. Key responsibilities include winning new business, developing long-term revenue streams from new customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion for existing clients.


  • Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts, covering business development, pipeline generation, and all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Establish and nurture client relationships, particularly with key accounts, engaging with CIOs, LOB executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively articulate and differentiate InterSystems' value proposition from competitors.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering solutions to address business challenges.

  • Create detailed account plans, considering the organizational structure of targeted prospects and existing accounts.
  • Exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Maintain customer details and activities in our CRM system.
  • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.


  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience selling to all areas of Financial Services including Asset Management
  • Proven success in enterprise sales and increasing revenue through acquiring new customers.
  • Proficient in growing existing territories and generating new business.
  • Hunter mentality with a focus on generating new business coupled with maintaining and expanding existing business.
  • Exceptional communication, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience selling software solutions for data management, interoperability, transaction processing, and analytics in the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address objections effectively.
  • Quick learner capable of understanding and effectively communicating the value proposition of new software products.
  • Proven ability to close deals and secure commitment throughout the sales process.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
