The Opportunity

The Worksite Business Consultant is responsible for being fluent in requirements for all transformational efforts within the Worksite Project Portfolio. This will include ensuring requirements efforts and business analysis efforts are effectively delivered within projects at all phases. This role will support leadership in complex decision analysis, optionality and presentation for decision.

The Impact

The Worksite Business Consultant is responsible for being the centralized and overarching role accountable for assisting all program and projects with business analysis requirements and driving to decisions impacting implementation paths.  You will coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure business analysis activities are aligned to MassMutual expectations and delivered accordingly.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advocate and represent Business in development and implementation of key strategic initiatives

  • Perform and document analysis of current business processes to define business requirements

  • Perform and document analysis of future state business processes including user and information system roles

  • Collaborate with program manager on roadmap planning and prioritization

  • Leads the analysis and preparation of recommendations for key decisions required to move projects and programs to target state

  • Ensure the User Experience and Worksite Value Stream is continually updated and in the forefront of analysis and planning

  • Represent and advocate business interests in development of new strategies and initiatives

  • Negotiate and influence requirements to ensure business and customer representation

  • Collaborate with business/technology/operations and compliance partners on requirements and deliver across all value chains

  • Consider impacts of all actions, thinking through potential solutions in a strategic manner

  • Consider data driven decision making, market considerations and long term strategy when teams are considering future state requirements

  • Experience in creation of functional requirements to fulfill the business requirements.

  • Experience in conducting iterative meetings with users and stakeholders for requirement finalization, requirement refinement, documentation and getting the users and stakeholder’s approvals.

  • Experience in performing requirements gathering and analysis, estimating time required for project completion, preparing schedules, design documentation, design reviews and development, testing and deployment of application enhancements, as well as project planning.·

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of business analysis or consulting experience

  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis or consulting

  • 3+ years experience Group life and supplemental health insurance products

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Worksite or Voluntary Benefits experience

  • Worksite business improvement project experience

  • Experience performing and documenting analysis of current and future state business processes including user and information system roles

  • Proficient with Visio

  • Outstanding verbal and written skills as well as excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Ability to lead and facilitate diverse groups of people to move towards solutions while influencing key decision makers based on analysis findings

  • Ability to network and maintain relationships across multiple groups

  • Lead and facilitate the process of gathering of business requirements through interviewing or conducting group requirements session and generate detailed business requirements/stories

  • Facilitate the complex process of understanding the business needs, developing understanding of how digital solutions may meet those needs

  • Consider the business implications in the application of technology to the current and future business environment

  • Be able to understand a program level of work and coordinate it into consumable parts of prioritized initiatives

Salary Range: $107,700.00-$141,300.00 Apply
