Readiness Consultant - Wealth Management - Distribution Platforms and Readiness

Brand, Product & Affiliated Distribution; Full-Time/Hybrid, Springfield or Boston

The Opportunity

As a Distribution Readiness Consultant, you will be responsible for partnering throughout the MassMutual enterprise to manage change initiatives affecting our affiliated distribution organization, MMFA as well as for third party distribution.

The Team

As part of Brand, Product and Affiliated Distribution, the Distribution Platforms and Readiness team is responsible for creating the strategy for and driving the execution of change management for strategic initiatives that impact our Affiliated Distribution Channel (MMFA). Within our organization, we place a premium on creating a diverse and inclusive team, aligning priorities with key markets and distribution channels, while nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders based in transparency and accountability.

The Impact:

  • Works with business partners to understand initiatives and create readiness plans; and reviews them with business partners for sign off on approach and timelines.

  • Under direction of the Readiness Lead and Manager, drives the collaborative development and execution of a holistic and integrated change management plan for certain initiatives, with outputs from a cross-functional team.

  • At the request of Readiness Leads, conducts readiness intake & assessment for new initiatives in partnership with training and communications leads.

  • Coordinates with partners in marketing, communications, training, distribution and subject matter experts to ensure everyone understands status and trajectory of plans at all times.

  • Understands and is competent at leveraging standard tools in the readiness toolkit; ensures consistency in approach across all initiatives.

  • Maintains collaboration technology channels; newsletters; FieldNet pages for specific initiatives

  • Creates and maintains documentation for all readiness initiatives and deployment plans.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ of experience demonstrating use of readiness and change management practices.

  • 4+ years of experience managing projects.

  • 1+ years of wealth management or financial planning related experience.

  • 1+ year of outstanding planning skills; ability to develop and manage multiple plans simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Experience partnering in cross-functional environments

  • Comfort interacting with all levels of leadership

  • Experience using the ADKAR Model for Change Management

Salary Range:

$97,600.00-$128,100.00
