The Opportunity
As the PM Tools Consultant, you will work closely with the Corporate Functions Project Management Office (CFPMO) team, Corporate Function senior leadership, ETX, and project teams to lead the implementation and optimization of project management tools to support organizational needs and standards across the Corporate Functions and broader MassMutual.
The Team
The CFPMO oversees the execution of initiatives across Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk, Investment Management, Law, and HR & Employee Experience, as well as defines and owns project management standards across the company. The team is focused on driving and aligning critical programs and projects across our Corporate Functions, creating more visibility into this work, while enabling better prioritization, collaboration, and execution.
We are a newer team of self-starters, who enjoy solving complex business problems with proven track records of excellence in project management and the ability to quickly structure and manage work in a dynamic, complex environment.
The Impact
- Develop and manage a roadmap for the project management toolkit, ensuring alignment with the CFPMO’s strategic goals
- Collaborate with the IT and project management teams to identify, evaluate, and deploy new features and technologies
- Monitor tool performance, usage, and effectiveness, providing recommendations for enhancements or replacements as needed
- Establish integration opportunities and maintain protocols between project management tools and other business systems
- Oversee the documentation of tool usage, including guides, usage standards, and application areas
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party project management tools
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and expertise
- 8+ year of expertise in project management best practices, standards, and tooling
- 3+ years of experience with project management tools and capabilities (e.g., MS Project, MS Office Suite, Clarity, Smartsheet, etc.,)
The Ideal Qualifications
- Experience in wealth management and/or insurance industry sectors
- Well-versed in dashboarding and visualization tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.,)
- Project or Program Management Certification (i.e., PMP, CAPM, etc.)
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:
$121,800.00-$159,800.00At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees. Your total compensation package includes either a bonus target or in a sales-focused role a Variable Incentive Compensation component.
