Intro and job overview:

We are looking for a Director of Field Marketing to lead our dedicated field events team. In this role, you will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of all field marketing activities. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to create impactful events that drive engagement and lead generation. This role is ideal if you thrive in managing projects and teams with precision and creativity. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Strategically plan and seamlessly execute a portfolio of field events, from intimate seminars to large-scale conferences, aligning them with our corporate goals.
  • Lead and develop a talented team of event professionals, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and accountability.
  • Oversee the development and creation of engaging event content, managing all aspects from initial concept to post-event analysis, ensuring consistent messaging and quality across pre-event promotions, on-site materials, and post-event communications.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor negotiations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure each event is targeted and leverages opportunities for lead generation and brand enhancement.
  • Utilize analytics and create dashboards to measure event success and integrate insights into future event strategies, continuously improving engagement and outcomes.
  • Champion our brand’s presence at events, ensuring all aspects follow industry regulations and embody our commitment to excellence and innovation.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive updates to senior leadership, providing insights and strategic recommendations to inform decision-making and align future events with business objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Years of experience: Minimum of 10 years in event planning or marketing, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role within a high-growth organization.
  • Expert project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple event schedules under tight deadlines.
  • Technical or software skills required: High proficiency in CRM software, Marketing automation platform, and Tableau.
  • Certifications in Event Management or Project Management would be a distinct advantage.
  • Travel is required: Yes – Approximately 30-40%
