What you will do:
The Regional Director, Sales will manage a sales team of Account Executives to drive Precisely software, data, and services sales into new and existing accounts. Based in Singapore, this role will have primary responsibility for the ASEAN region. The successful candidate will be vigilant about achieving quotas and keeping their team focused on daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual sales and pipeline development goals. This hands-on role will be responsible for leading and guiding their team on finding and managing partners as well as direct sales to major corporates; supporting their team to identify and qualify opportunities, developing account and opportunity plans to support sales strategies that meet/exceed quota.
In addition, the Regional Director will have some leadership responsibilities across the whole APAC region.
- Consistently lead sales team to meet or exceed their quarterly assigned quota.
- Provide leadership across the region, motivation, strategy, and daily management of accountabilities for direct reports, and attract, acquire, and develop talent.
- Drive pipeline building activities to generate required opportunity pipeline
- Regularly meet with partners, prospects, and customers.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and roll up the regional forecast
- Drive the adoption and use of the Command of the Message/Sale methodology.
- Guide the team to set sales strategies for accounts and opportunities.
- Monitor team’s performance and motivate them to reach targets.
- Coordinate with the Product, Marketing, and Support teams regularly.
- Manage HR aspects of the team.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ success managing an enterprise software sales team.
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
- A good track record of consistently achieving sales goals and helping team to achieve quota.
- Proven ability to create account plans, and to prioritize and manage time to achieve plans.
- Ability to work, lead, and adapt to a changing environment.
- Experience coaching and training direct reports on solutions-oriented and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong presentation and analytical skill sets.
- Experience with working across the APAC region.
- Enterprise data sales experience is a plus.
- B2B selling experience and business acumen to engage all functional departments; finance, human resources, sales, supply chain, and information technology will be preferred.
