Intro and job overview:
Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. The program that begins July 1st and concludes September 30th. The Software Engineer QM Intern will work closely with the R&D team.
The intern will join Customer Engagement Solutions business line, working on communication products EngageOne™ Communicate and RapidCX. Our products lets you create and send communications to targeted groups of recipients. The types of communication (known as "channels") include email, SMS, documents or videos. A further function allows you to create chatbots for user interaction.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Working with engineering team on developing new features and maintaining application in terms of testing
- Performing QA tasks for application, deployed on AWS
- Assisting other QAs in their work both with manual and automation testing
- Write, maintain, review and execute test cases, investigate, log, track and retest defects
- Write and maintain test automation that ensures thorough feature and/or product testing
- Participate in the design and implementation of features
- Working in SCRUM methodology with 2 weeks sprints, which are followed by sprint review
- Work with international UX team and Product Management
Requirements and qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: QA interns need to have a keen eye for detail to identify issues or bugs in software or products.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is crucial for reporting bugs and collaborating with developers or other team members to resolve issues.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Being able to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently is essential for QA interns, as they often encounter unexpected issues during testing.
- Time Management: QA interns may need to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
- Documentation Skills: Keeping detailed records of test results, bug reports, and testing procedures is essential for maintaining the quality of software products and facilitating future improvements.
- Nice to have: Technical QA Skills (familiarity with testing methodologies, ISTQB, tools, and technologies commonly used in software testing.)
- Ability to work in the office in Bielsko-Biała
