We are looking for an experienced hands-on controller with great interpersonal skills, and strong analytical thinking, to be part of our growing global finance team.
As the IL Controller, you will have an overview of the financial activity of Israeli entities including month-cloth processes, analytical reviews, tax aspects, reporting and ongoing projects for a rapidly growing organization.
About the Team
The IL Controller will be part of the finance department in Israel that oversees all financial aspects of the Israeli entities and will have an ongoing communication and collaboration with the global Finance teams.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Oversee account ledgers for Israel and work closely with the bookkeeper to ensure and supervise the accuracy of ongoing/monthly/annual accounting matters (US GAAP)
Responsible for GL maintenance, reconciliations, monthly and quarterly closing processes
Prepare an annual statutory financial statement, tax returns and other reports to the authorities
Ensure completeness of month-end accruals and provisions
Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and identify trends through analytical reviews
Prepare periodic cash flow forecasting and review the monthly payments run
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and automation
Undertake tasks in special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary
The skills you’ll bring include:
CPA with BIG 4 high-tech department experience
At least 3 years’ experience as a Controller in a high-tech US Public traded company, reporting according to US GAAP
Fluent in English- verbal and written
Strong Excel knowledge
Experience with NetSuite – An advantage
Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP
Team player with excellent interpersonal relations, independent work capability and learning ability
Ability to work with tight deadlines
