We are looking for a Workplace Experience Co-ordinator to join our team in Melbourne and be responsible for creating a welcoming workplace where our employees can give their best every day. This is a varied role, you will go from organising an office event, to getting an engineer in for a broken coffee machine so we need someone who can multi-task and prioritise. This is a great opportunity for someone with a can-do attitude who wants to join a high energy team where no day will be the same.

About the role

As Rapid7’s Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering amazing customer service on a daily basis by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests and employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Help ensure our office is a place our coworkers and guests love to come to

  • Plan and execute all in-house events and employee social events

  • Ensure the general upkeep of all office common areas

  • Liaise with building management and security

  • Manage existing and new vendor relationships

  • Facilities management - preventive maintenance and repairs

  • Space planning and monitoring usage in our new office space

  • Provide support to other teams within APAC

  • Manage the office OpEx budget

  • Office communication hub - if it isn’t our team, we will connect you with the right one!

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • Previous experience working within Office, Facilities or Workplace Management would be advantageous

  • Strong relationship building skills, able to manage vendor/supplier relationships

  • An amazing attitude - personable, approachable, and always eager to help

  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail

  • A proactive work ethic - take ownership of your work!

  • An eagerness to learn - take feedback well, and apply it

  • A desire to work both independently and on a team

  • Experience in a corporate setting is preferred but not required

  • Experience in Google Apps is preferred
