Job Description Summary:

The Senior Ecosystem Manager is responsible for identifying, vetting and developing technical and Go To Market partnerships that will allow Rocket Software to scale its DataEdge business and deliver more value to customers. This includes engaging Cloud Service Providers and their end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for Rocket Software.
With Rocket DataEdge, we are helping enterprises build modern data pipelines from mainframe to cloud. The Senior Ecosystem Manager role is pivotal to our strategy since our success is dependent on having strong technical and business relationships with the vendors who inhabit the data ecosystem we wish to thrive in.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage technical partnerships including developing technology and commercial opportunities across the ecosystem.
  • Evaluate, assess and foster ecosystem partnerships, licensing opportunities and co-selling relationships.
  • Understand and articulate our partners’ technical requirements and work closely with the Product/Dev teams to guide the direction of our product offerings and joint partner solutions.
  • Establish the pricing and packaging approach and Go To Market strategy for ecosystem partnerships.
  • Drive rapid progress from cross-functional team executing against strategic ecosystem/partner program goals.
  • Help the Product team to manage and prioritize the roadmap to support technical and GTM goals related to partnerships.
  • Collaborate with, and influence, sales, marketing, product managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Be an expert on the data integration and data management domain, the market, the trends and competitive environment.
  • Ensure Rocket DataEdge products are best positioned relative to our strategy.
  • Brief internal teams and enable the sales force on ecosystem partnerships and GTM motions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a Product Manager or Ecosystem Manager.
  • Possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.
  • Demonstrated success working with strategic partners to define and launch excellent products and/or programs.
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy and drive decision-making.
  • Experience working with Cloud Service Providers and familiarity with cloud marketplace procedures
  • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and project management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Marketing, or equivalent business experience.

MBA or related Master’s degree preferred.

Travel Requirements:

<25%, including international travel, fluctuates to meet business and customer needs.

The base salary range for this role is $124,130.00 - $155,162.50 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location..
