Job Title: Commercial Foresight Advisory Lead – JG3 Virtual

Job Description: This is a great opportunity to join the #1 Global Lubricants business in an exciting business analytics role. If you’re highly ambitious team player, inquisitive, self-starting, comfortable with autonomy and putting your opinion forward, this role will help you grow and develop in a business that encourages both personal and professional development where you’ll play a pivotal role in the transformational journey of Lubricant business into fully data/facts facilitated decision making organisation.

In this role, you will influence strategic direction of the business and be a trusted advisor to senior global and sectorial marketers and leaderships. Through active research and synthesised analysis, you are expected to interpret and cut through data (both internal and external, micro and macro) to extract key insights and foresights that will shape the business. Create clear, concise and compelling stories that influence individuals and the business. Link insights to commercial opportunities and make recommendations how to activate against these. Holds performance mirror to markets to drive improvements in a complex and diverse stakeholder group. Lead complex large global insight projects spanning a wide range of methodologies and diverse countries and customer sectors. Thrive in a complex multinational matrix organisation where many key stakeholders will be based in other countries. Manage and extract the best from both large and boutique agency partners.

The successful candidate will focus on driving strategy, development of compelling offers and delivery of high-quality regular commercial insights/foresights for the business stakeholders. All of which will contribute towards the multi-year transformational program of UNiversum with the aim to equip Lubricant business with confidence when decision moments arrive.

The future trends and prediction (foresights) element of the role is a unique opportunity to socialise the latest trends and projections across the whole of Lubricant value chain. Synthesising all elements of internal and external drivers to help make recommendations on the next best action for Lubricants growth strategies through active research and analysis.

Working closely with the rest of the Commercial Foresight Advisory part of the team as well as the Analytics Product Development team. The role will particularly suit a commercially focused individual who wishes to blend analytics with ‘in the field’ business research and stakeholder interaction.

# Accountable for understanding business priorities and developing/delivery a corresponding commercial foresight roadmap

# Active research - Deep dive for actionable insight & foresight generation

# Clears blockers and solves complex problems to develop the best insights/foresight for the organisation

# Supports markets with best practices and cross-pollinates effective analytics across markets

# Delivery through a very diverse set of stakeholders across the business and functions ranging from delivery teams, to strategic thinkers, to Senior Leadership

# Combining data from both external and internal, including but not limited to the below in approach, supporting GLLT and sector leaderships - Industry research (competitors, trends, etc.), Macroeconomic drives, Historical performance results, Forecasting.

# Drive culture change in the organisation, issue regular synthesised insight foresights communications to the organisation. Champion

external and competitor focused insights and foresights to shape growth strategies.

# Drive analytics capability & solution development, integration & value

# Challenges the analytics ambitions of the business to ensure full value is delivered.

# Identifies external best practice and delivers this into the lubricants business

Requirements
The role will require a collaborative, motivated & innovative person who is committed to learning, experimenting, coaching and delivering results. Success candidates will have:
# Substantial lubricant or Mobility experience with experience in the field of analytics an advantage

# Substantial experience in insight/foresight generation, working with internal and external available data in customer centric business an advantage
# A strong influencer, coalition builder, and motivator of diverse teams (local and global)
# Effectively demonstrates speed and level of detail in thinking and execution
# Excellent communication skills including presentation skills
# Fluent in English
