Job Description:

What is the role?

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and controlling a project or set of related projects to meet identified business requirements and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within the agreed parameters of cost, timeframes, risk, quality and benefits.

It will be responsible for engaging and managing effective relationships with key stakeholders within Upstream Deepwater teams and other businesses (RES, Trading, Midstream, etc) as well as interfacing with Upstream Deepwater IDT Natural teams. The role is required to ensure that project objectives are aligned to business and IDT strategies, project progress (including changes) are successfully communicated and coordinated to ensure project targets are met.

The role will be exposed to senior levels within the organization, different businesses and IDT stakeholders in and out of Brazil, external vendors, so needs to demonstrate the ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority.

This is a challenging and complex assignment, requiring an energetic self-starting individual with a broad understanding of Upstream processes and IDT systems.

Accountabilities:

  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Support IDT Advisors on creating business cases to justify solution value and purpose
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality.
  • Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
  • Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information over the project lifecycle.
  • Research potential solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions with technology vendors.
  • Lead stakeholder management activities including facilitation of large design sessions.
  • Able to Lead and manage cross-functional projects
  • Able to drive global-level initiatives, with ability to influence outcomes, gain senior stakeholder support in developing strategy and setting business priorities and deliver results while leading and managing multiple objectives.
  • Work effectively within a diverse global team with strong analytical, interpretive and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex information and prepare concise, compelling presentations
  • Influence others through effective communications and providing challenge
  • Be a self-starter and successfully complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Gain confidence of leaders and/or stakeholders.
  • Change Management skills: Engage business focal points, Subject Matter experts, vendors and IT internal teams, to make sure impacts in business processes and systems are clear and will be delivered as per plan.
  • Knowledge/Previous Experience within Oil Industry, especially Upstream process areas (mainly Finance, Logistics, C&P and Material Management) is desired

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any related degrees.
  • Project Management proved experience (5-7 y+)
  • Previous experience managing AI/Power Platform/Data Analytics type of projects would be a differentiator
  • Corporate IT experience is a must.
  • Fluent/Advanced English speaking (and writing), capable of running presentations remotely to multiple countries
  • Business Analysis or/and Project Management Certificates are desired
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.
  • Agile project experience.
  • Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly.
  • Lean Practitioner training and experience are an asset.
  • Learner Mindset and Digital Capabilities and Skills
