Sensata Technologies is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in our Southwestern U.S. region to lead growth with a wide range of customers in one of our strongest business units in the company - the Industrial Solutions business. The primary responsibility is to develop and win new business opportunities for mission-critical, sensor-rich solutions that help our customers safely deliver a cleaner, more efficient, electrified and connected world. Our customers include the market leading OEMs and world’s most recognizable brands in the HVAC, medical device, oil & gas, factory automation, and diversified industrial markets. The Regional Sales Manager will partner with a network of professional sales representatives and authorized distribution partners to develop new business and provide exceptional support for customers within the region to achieve strong, long-term revenues.

General Responsibilities
•Key participant in new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.
• Collaborates during visits to existing and new customers
• Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
• Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets
• Collaborates on sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
• Organizes supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations
• Key participant in identifying and implementing efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
• Key participant in regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

  • 0 – 3 years experience in technical sales.

Base Salary Range:

$80,884.00 - $111,215.50
