The Key Account Professional is responsible for the sales performance at a large key or strategic account (direct end-customer, OEM, or Channel partner). This individual is responsible for the overall alignment and strategies between the two companies and has global accountability.

General Responsibilities
• Sells the organization’s products or services to, and maintains relationships with, typically one to three existing key country accounts.
• Manages sales activities for assigned named country accounts, rather than an assigned territory.
• Primary point-of-contact sales manager for account regardless of account’s geographic location.
• Handles expansion and development on a global or international account and providing customer service
• Manages relationship with global channel partners.
• Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development.
• Responsible for the master strategy for strategic accounts and ensures the strategy is executed.

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
