DUTIES: Lead the development of product launch timelines with Product Management; oversee and manage milestones of the Development Team and report to key stakeholders regularly, including direct leadership of cross functional team (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Management functions); development of capital plans for equipment upgrades and product tooling; customer engagement and product launch planning; manage the production launch of required components, working with design and sourcing teams, and ensuring the availability of materials for production launch schedule.
REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and four (4) years of relevant work experience in a Technical Program, Program Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience must include:
- four (4) years of experience in Microsoft (MS) Project; managing customer interface, including escalations, quality, leading of projects;
- three (3) years of experience executing program plans including scope, schedule, commercial impact, and manufacturing strategy; using NPD / NPI tools for program management tracking, including holding phase gate reviews;
- two (2) years of experience managing component supply and risk assessment – including events regarding supplier delivery, quality, and capacity; direct supervision of subordinate employees; in assessment of project financial status (basic cashflow management); and
- one (1) year of experience in managing MRP and capital budgets; supplier relationships, buyer/procurement; direct supervision of subordinate employees.
