The Travel Services Specialist will be responsible for the company's Global Travel Program. This role helps maintain the global network of travel management companies by negotiating contracts, managing relationships and ensuring compliance with travel policies. This includes maintaining a global network of travel management companies, negotiating contracts and managing relationships with travel partners, such as airlines, hotels, and car rental companies, and ensuring compliance with Sensata’s Travel Policy. The Travel Services Specialist will also oversee the corporate credit card program.

General Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies and executes company travel policy and procedures

• Leads accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of travel data

• Primary contact for all travel vendors and suppliers

• Works with Indirect Procurement on negotiations and maintains contracts with travel vendors

• Responsible for cost control and effectiveness

• Handles Corporate credit card program

• Coordinates and works closely with internal teams

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
