Job Description:

As Energy Risk and Accounting (ERA) Team Specialist, you will provide support to the Contracts and Pricing Team with opportunity to support Stock Valuation & Margin Segmentation thru role integration. Your role includes active participation in business engagements, interactions with business partners onshore and offshore, effective control operation and ensure effective KPI/Non-First Time Right analysis by identifying root causes and implementing monitoring improvement plans. Contracts and Pricing deals with working with the business in setting up contracts and relevant pricing to enable posting of transactions in GSAP. Stock Valuation deals with proper valuation and reasonableness check of inventory value at the end of the month for financial and reporting purposes. The role also requires collaboration with other Hydrocarbon processes (Sales, Purchases & Exchanges, Stock Recording and Reconciliation and Refinery Mass Balance), Hydrocarbon Deal Making, Reporting and Analysis, Finance Advisors and Tax to name a few.

We’re keen to hear from a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accountancy and/or Management. Beyond that, we’d hope to see as many of the following:

(a) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

(b) Detail oriented since this role would support control execution

(c) With excellent oral and written communication skills

(d) Proficient in Microsoft Office

(e) Good interpersonal skills

(f) Preferably with financial accounting background
