The Maintenance discipline covers the development of Maintenance strategies and the planning, coordination and execution of Maintenance activities. Maintenance ensures safe, defect free and efficient operations through the regular upkeep of equipment and tools in the most cost efficient and timely manner.
What’s the role?
Preventive Planner is a fulltime role in the maintenance execution process responsible for developing an efficient work plan for preventive work.
Your accountabilities will as follows:
- Ensure Job Safety Analysis or Job Hazard Analysis is received and reviewed for planning.
- Accurately plan preventive work orders to cover the full scope of operations, maintenance and safety requirements.
- Conduct Maintenance Execution / Equipment Integrity meeting to ensure operation, maintenance and assurance are align on job requirement, due dates and readiness to execute
- Create new preventive maintenance tasks from Reliability Centred Maintenance studies
- Scope out the tasks for work requirements and HSE requirements such as permits, safety plans.
- Breakdown the scope into logical tasks or steps.
- Plan work orders on time for labour, materials and services by using task lists as much as possible and procure them through SAP.
- Ensure materials purchased received, job packs and permits readiness before job scheduling process take place
- Plan for any constraints such as long lead items.
- Tasks work order operation steps to other disciplines or contractors for further detail planning.
- Check that planned work is within realistic completion dates.
- Highlight potential PM job unable to execute due to its specific constrain and support timely deferment of PM job not executed
What we need from you
We are keen to speak with individuals with the following:
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical
- At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the process industry.
- Sound knowledge in breaking work into relevant job steps.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Understanding of HSSE requirements for maintenance work.
- Knowledge of craftwork appropriate practices, typical time required for completing frequently executed activities.
- Knowledge of on selecting the correct materials for a job.
- Knowledge on materials procurement.
