We are looking for an individual who exudes adaptability, foresight, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This individual will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence, collaboration, attention-to-detail, creative problem solving, and big picture thinking. Our ideal candidate will be resourceful, tech savvy, and have outstanding relationship building and interpersonal communication skills.
This position is 100% in person at our Tysons Corner, VA office with occasional support needed on-site at our Baltimore, MD office (approx. once per Quarter).

Compensation And Benefits

Pay range for this role (may vary based on experience) $60,000-$80,000

What You’ll Do
Office Administration:
- Primary face behind the front reception desk of a Slalom office; Offers a hospitable, warm, and contemporary client, candidate, and vendor experience
- Directs central email, phone requests, mail, and packages to appropriate individuals
- Inventories and orders office, gear, and kitchen supplies, including life event purchases & delivery
- Support efforts to create and execute on Slalom Culture
- Support special projects as needed for leadership and key team members
- Ensures safe and secure office space in compliance with laws and Slalom policy
- Responsible for the cleanliness/organization of the space including tidying up of conference rooms after use, straightening & restocking kitchen
- Communicates with building management, internal employees, Slalom Spaces, and vendors regarding facility-related asks and issues
- Facilitates employee badging, parking, and visitor access
- May serve as local office First Aid/AED/CPR
- Support office build-outs, moves, expansions, desk configurations etc.
- Supports planning and execution of internal and external events including but not limited to set-up/break down of events, collateral, venue sourcing, contracting, theme, registration, event website, communications, food & beverage, swag,
- AV, etc.
- Manage and curate the experience for all meetings and events inside the Slalom office space to include securing conference rooms, catering needs, supplies, etc.
- Orders supplies, awards, and prizes for meetings & events
- Facilitates New Hire Orientation/Onboarding to include first day logistics, meeting scheduling, facility tours, etc.
- Supports market-wide marketing and communications efforts (eg – monthly newsletters, SharePoint intranet site, and/or Social Media)
- Actively participates in Team Operations community and Slalom Development offerings
- Support calendar and travel arrangements for market General Manager
- May reconcile credit card expenses for market General Manager using Chrome River
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office management experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Canva
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and strong problem-solving skills
- Professional communicator with strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong passion for above and beyond customer service
- Hold a driver’s license in good standing and have reliable transportation to/from office space and other event spaces around the DMV
- Has a positive spirit
