Slalom’s Global Total Rewards team is seeking a Manger, Total Rewards to lead and manage compensation and benefits initiatives for the Asia / Pacific region (APAC). The ideal candidate will design and implement APAC compensation and benefit programs, analyse data to drive decision making, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

This role is ideal for someone that enjoys diving deep into understanding the data while summarising it in a simplified way for Business Leaders to make the best decisions that align with Slalom’s Objectives.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the confident compensation and benefits expert who can navigate ambiguity, stand firm in rolling out standardised programs, and incorporate client feedback.

Cross Functional Responsibilities (Compensation + Benefits)

  • Serve as a partner to the Global Rewards Team (Compensation + Benefits), APAC People Business Partners, and People Services Teams (HR Operations).
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, monitor legislative changes, and adjust programs, as necessary.
  • Lead process improvements and system enhancements including updates, maintenance, issue resolution, and communications.
  • Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate and inform team members about offerings and changes.

APAC Compensation Responsibilities

  • Manage APAC compensation programs and initiatives, including our compensation review process, bonus program administration, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Utilize Workday to run reports for analysis as well as ensure data integrity on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in the rollout of our new job architecture and conduct in-depth compensation analysis such as market trends.
  • Partner with both the Senior Compensation Partner and Local People Business Partners to resolve complex compensation related questions / issues.

APAC Benefits Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage employee benefit programs and policy, including insurance, retirement/pension, wellbeing, leaves of absence, time off programs, and other perks.
  • Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, benchmark offerings, monitor trends, and recommend new offerings or replacements, providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Manage vendors and brokers to negotiate competitive offerings / renewals, promote new offerings, implement programs, and resolve issues / handle escalations.
  • Lead annual pension investment and compliance reviews and develop dashboards for leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • You have 4-7+ years’ professional work experience in compensation and benefits.
  • You are an excellent listener and communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with business leaders and can navigate complex initiatives with skill and grace.
  • You enjoy data (and excel): using formulas, summarizing, and using it to present a business case.
  • Ability to work autonomously while multi-tasking and prioritizing accordingly.
  • You are a continuous learner, ask a lot of questions, and know how to find the answer.
