The individual in this role will be responsible for the administration of Slalom's commercial contracts, primarily related to the sale and supply of products and services to our customers. This role will have the opportunity to work cooperatively with a diverse group of professionals, including the Legal team, other Global Services groups and all levels of Slalom consulting managers and employees, as well as outside partners, customers and vendors to foster Slalom’s dynamic, collaborative, and practical culture. What You’ll Do
- Provide front-line legal support, acting as a trusted advisor to various internal business clients.
- Act as a point of contact for the administration and maintenance of the legal team’s workflow management tools, including:
- Matter creation within the legal team’s matter management tool
- Data entry and filing
- Tracking and reporting of client deliverables
- Aid in the upkeep of matter management and legal workflow tools.
- Assist in the administrative process and maintenance of the team’s internal file systems and workflows.
- Provide transactional and litigation support, along with general administrative support, to legal team staff and outside counsel. Assist with complex projects and communications across various cross-departmental company functions.
- Investigate and resolve matters of significance on behalf of management regarding legal request queue management and contract review.
- Help with document preparation and template creation including editing, formatting and production.
- Create new process documentation, enhance existing documentation, and assist with managing internal playbooks.
- Coordinate the gathering of signatures and/or e-signatures on a variety of agreements.
- Review and process vendor invoices and follow up with internal teams to ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement and automation within the legal department. Use this information to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize data analytics tools and software to automate reporting and streamline data collection processes.
- 4+ years of legal assistant, paralegal or project coordinator experience
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with quality work product
- High degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments while handling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to clearly and concisely express issues and analysis to management, colleagues and peers
