About Us
In 2023 Slalom opened their first New Zealand office in Auckland, as part of our expansion into the Asia-Pacific region. Two years later, we have almost 50 professionals who, in collaboration with our alliance partners, have built our brand in Aotearoa through delivering high value outcomes that serve the strategic, technological, business and transformational needs of our cross-sector customers.
In 2025, we will launch our second regional office, in Wellington, to support our continued growth and drive our strategic expansion into the Public Sector. As our first hire in Wellington, with a business builder mindset, a robust professional network and the capability to craft your personal brand and profile within the industry, you will have the rare opportunity to help shape Slalom’s trajectory in New Zealand and establish our presence in this new market.
About The Role
As a Client Partner, you will form part of our New Zealand Go-To-Market team and collaborate with ANZ Public Sector leadership, our local and global practice leaders and our alliance partners, to position Slalom as the premier consulting partner in Wellington.
You will have a diverse and exciting role, which will see you drive our Public Sector strategy locally, partner with existing customers to achieve their strategic goals, and in collaboration with your Go-To-Market colleagues, build our brand in Wellington and grow our customer base. You will be familiar with government procurement processes and be comfortable with the end-to-end sales cycle for new opportunities and new customers, in addition to managing our key strategic accounts for existing customers and ensuring that delivery within those accounts is exceptional.
As the first Client Partner based in Wellington, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Slalom's presence in this new market. You will be instrumental in securing a new client logo by 2025, with a strong emphasis on business development and building new client relationships, particularly in the public sector. This role requires a business builder mindset, a robust professional network, and a capability to craft your personal brand and profile within the industry.
You will collaborate with local practice leaders and other markets to position Slalom as the premier consulting partner for transformative business and technology projects. Your role involves engaging with colleagues across Slalom to introduce thought leadership, create compelling proposals, and deliver exceptional work, thereby broadening Slalom's consulting impact with existing clients and opening doors to new opportunities. You will also deliver solutions that enhance our transformation narrative and fortify our foundation with current strategic and emerging partners.
This role is an opportunity to be at the forefront of building Slalom’s new business in Wellington, ultimately leading the public sector division.
What You’ll Do
